
Kansas City Workers’ Compensation Leaders Announce
Merger

Cobalt Ventures LLC, a wholly
own subsidiary of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, and CompResults,
LLC are proud to announce the merger of Premier WorkComp Management and
CompResults. Premier WorkComp Management is owned by Cobalt Ventures,
LLC.
The new company will be known
as CompAlliance and will offer a full suite of workers’ compensation services
which include nurse case management, bill review, provider networks and
substance abuse testing. “We’re very excited about this merger.
Clients and service providers of CompAlliance can expect increased efficiency,
enhanced technology and improved methodologies with the new company,” said Jim
Weir, President and CEO of CompResults and CompAlliance.

The management team at
CompResults will assume the leadership role in the new, merged
CompAlliance. Clients, network health care professionals, and
distribution partners like Third Party Administrators and workers’ compensation
brokers will experience an enhancement in service and support as a result of
the merger.
